Thanks to the Quality Assurance Department, which constantly monitors and updates corporate processes, Maxi obtained UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certification as early as February 1998. In December 2001, it obtained a certificate of competence for the import of organic plant products from third countries, issued by the Ministry of the Environment and by the ICEA—Institute
for Ethical and Environmental Certification, an IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements) accredited body.
Since 2012, Maxi has proudly supported fair trade. With its Fairtrade certification, the company is committed to strengthening the capabilities of the most disadvantaged producers in developing countries, promoting their access to a transparent and responsible trading system and contributing
concretely to improving the living standards and welfare of their communities.
